1. Scope

This policy applies to all orders placed with Venkatesh Agro Processing Company (“the Company”), headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, for the purchase of dried fruit products (including raisins) by individuals or businesses (“the Customer”).

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Prior to dispatch: Customers may cancel orders at no extra charge if the cancellation is made before the order is dispatched. Any advance payments will be refunded in accordance with the Refund Policy below.
  • After dispatch: Orders cannot be cancelled once marked as dispatched or once they leave our warehouse/logistics partner.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be considered under the following circumstances:

  • Defective or Damaged Products: If the products are found to be spoiled, contaminated, or physically damaged upon delivery, you must report these within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Short-shipped Orders: If you receive fewer items than ordered, report the discrepancy within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Incorrect Items: If you receive items different from what was ordered, report within 48 hours of delivery.

Refund claims outside these situations (e.g., change of mind) may be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

4. Refund Process

  1. Notification: Email our customer support within 48 hours of receipt at refund@venkateshagro.com, including:
    • Order number
    • Product name(s)
    • Detailed description of the issue (incl. photos for damage or defects)
  2. Assessment: We’ll evaluate the claim within 3 business days and may request additional information or suggest inspection by a third-party evaluator.
  3. Approval: If the claim is approved, refunds or replacements will be processed within 7–10 business days:
    • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (bank transfer or UPI) unless otherwise agreed.
    • In case of replacement, we’ll ship the correct or non-defective product at no extra cost.
    • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was on our part.
  4. Rejection: If we deem the claim invalid, we’ll provide reasons in writing.

5. Refund Timeline

  • Refunds will be initiated within 7–10 business days after claim approval.
  • Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method and bank/UPI schedules.

6. Special Orders

For custom-packaged products or bulk orders specifically tailored to your requirements, refunds or cancellations may not be accepted once production has begun. Please confirm your specifications carefully before placing such orders.

7. Returns

In exceptional cases (e.g., bulk-damaged shipments), we may request that you return the product. We will:

  • Arrange and cover logistics costs, or
  • Provide you with a shipping reimbursement once the return is confirmed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. The updated policy will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
